TEX Basic ESL Teacher Training, Bellaire, TX (Canceled)

TEX* Basic ESL Teacher Training prepares volunteers to teach English as a Second Language (ESL) in a faith-based setting. The workshop provides hands-on teaching activities, tips for success, and useful resources. Participants benefit from the knowledge and expertise of experienced teacher trainers.

Includes online TEX Training Manual.
Payment may be made online when registering or at workshop on October 1, 2022.
 
REGISTRATION:  The last day to register is Wednesday, Sept 28, 2022.

Note:  Because most adult ESL students in Texas church ministries are beginners, the emphasis is on teaching that level. However, higher level teachers who have never attended a basic workshop will benefit from this training.  Many of the same techniques used for beginners are also appropriate for the higher levels.
